We all have a responsibility to promote high standards of behaviour in football in general, and in schools football in particular.
Gravesham Schools’ Football Association is supporting The F.A.’s Respect programme to ensure football can be enjoyed by everyone in a safe and positive environment.

We all have a responsibility to promote high standards of behaviour in football in general, and in schools football in particular.

CODE OF CONDUCT FOR PLAYERS
- play to enjoy football and not to please anybody else.
- respect other people and treat all players equally, including the opposition.
- abide by the rules of the association.
- be well behaved and work hard to improve own personal playing ability.
- accept responsibility for own behaviour and performance both on and off the field of play.
- co-operate fully with specialists both on and off the field of play (doctor’s, physios, coaches etc.) in my own best interests.
- play fairly and honestly and never deliberately break the Laws of the Game.
- accept the decisions of the Match Officials without protest. The referee’s decision is final and is to be respected.
- refrain from using offensive language, smoking and from using alcohol or drugs.
- be courteous and polite to visiting players and supporters; respect your opposition and their facilities.
- appreciate the efforts being put in by others on my behalf and show thm due consideration and respect.
- inform my manager if there are any problems (medical or personal) that he should be aware of.
- shake hands with the opposing team and the match officials at the end of every game.
