KENT CUP AND FRIENDLY FIXTURES
The team have entered the Kent Cup which is played on a League basis. The first two teams from each group will qualify for the semi-finals of the A.B. Taylor Trophy and the next four teams will qualify for the quarter-finals of the Holy Cross Trophy

Gravesham 1 Canterbury 8 (Scorer: Brown)
Old Southfields Playing Field, Nursery Mews off of Cedar Avenue DA12 5JT 6pm kick off
In their first game since the lifting of national lockdown restrictions Gravesham U12s hosted Canterbury on a chilly April evening. Canterbury proved to be a strong opposition including a couple of very big players and soon caused Gravesham some difficulties. However, Gravesham took the lead when Harrison Brown's well-struck shot from outside the penalty area dipped in just below the cross bar. However, this spurred on the visitors who went in 3-1 up at half-time and eventually won the contest 8-1.

Gravesham 5 Shepway 1 (Scorers: Dunlop, Freeman (3, (1 pen.)), Ferrara)

Gravesham started their campaign in the A.B. Taylor Trophy at home o Shepway. Gravesham played some good football before Callum Dunlop gave the hosts a lead. Both teams had further chances to score but at half-time Gravesham retained their 1-0 advantage, In the second half Gravesham increased their tempo and deservedly increased their lead. Although Shepway were able to pull back one goal a hat-trick from Ashton Freeman (including a penalty) and a goal from Theo Ferrara enabled Gravesham to win 5-1.

Ashford 1 Gravesham 8 (Scorers: Freeman(3), Brown(2), Dunlop (2), English)
The Ridge, Spearpoint Pavilion, Kennington Ashford, Kent. 11.00am kick off
Gravesham put in an excellent performance and pressed high to dominate the game. After seven minutes William English played a through ball to Aston Freeman who scored. Rhys Sherwin took a few dangerous corners and Harrison Brown went close with several headers. Gravesham also had William English, Clive Anderson and Charlie Young, all going close but Ashford scored from a long range free-kick, which made the score 1-1 at half time. in the second half Gravesham took control of the game and Aston Freeman scored twice more to complete his hat-trick. Harrison Brown and Callum Dunlop both scored braces and a goal from William English made the final score 8-1 to Gravesham.

Gravesham found Dover in a determined mood and the visitors tool=k the lead half way through the first half. However, Gravesham battled their way back and created a few chances before Harrison Brown equalised in the final moments of the fit half from close range. In the second half Dover proved too strong and the visitors eventually w=on the game 4-1.

The Sittingbourne School, Swanstree Avenue, Sittingbourne, Kent ME10 4NL 10.30am kick off
Gravesham U12s put in a superb first half performance performance, competing in all areas of the pitch and passing the ball well.
Having dominated the first half Gravesham took the lead with a great goal with the ball being passed all round the pitch and then finally to Aston Freeman who set up Clive Anderson to score. Then Harrison Brown passed to Aston Freeman to score Gravesham's second goal, and make it 2-0 at half time. Swale put Gravesham under more pressure in second half, but the visitors went close with Harrison Brown hitting the cross bar from a free kick. Swale got one back with play down their left side and a shot on target to make it 2-1. Gravesham had more chances from Charlie Young, William English. Aston Freeman and Harrison Brown, all going close. Gravesham's hopes of winning the game following a great performance disappeared when Swale got a late equaliser with a long ball and their striker got in between the Gravesham goalkeeper and defence to head home.

Gravesham 3 West Kent South 2 (Scorers: Freeman, Anderson, English)

Gravesham U12s got off to a slow start, with West Kent putting the pressure on with high pressing from their forwards. It paid off with the ball not being cleared, and they had a long shot that Theo Ferrara saved , but West Kent followed up and scored to go one nil up. Gravesham's midfield of Clive Anderson and William English competed more and towards the end of the half Gravesham won a corner. Harrison Brown took it with his left foot and Aston Freeman got there first and scored a powerful header. The score was 1-1 at halftime. Gravesham started passing the ball and keeping possession a lot better in the second half. Rhys Sherwin played a long ball forward, and Aston Freeman chased it and beat the keeper to it and passed to Clive Anderson to put Gravesham 2-1 up. Then Timi Johnson passed to Aston Freeman down the right wing and he passed to William English to slot it home. West Kent scored from a corner to make it 3-2, and make it a nervous last couple of minutes, but Gravesham hung on to win 3-2, and go through to the Final.
