King Henry School, Avenue Road, Erith. DA8 3BN. 10.45am kick off
The match started in challenging weather conditions with heavy rain and strong winds and Gravesham found it difficult to adapt to the conditions, conceding within the first two minutes. Ten minutes late North Kent had extended their lead with a wind-assisted shot from long range. Gravesham showed glimpses of the football they are capable of but North Kent enjoyed the majority of the first half and the home team went into the interval with a 2-0 advantage. However, throughout the second half Gravesham grew into the game and with 15 minutes remaining Emmanuel Oyedeji ran onto a fine ball from Ben Clark and expertly scored. Gravesham then increasingly dominated and came close to equalising on a couple of occasions. With a minute to go Dylan Morris shot from 40 yards out and saw his ambitious shot strike the crossbar. However, Gravesham ran out of time to equalise and the final score was North Kent 2 Gravesham 0.

West Kent 1 Gravesham 2 (Scorers: Blakeley, Olale)
Kings Hill Sports Park, 200 Beacon Avenue, Kings Hill ME19 4QP 9.15am kick off
Gravesham travelled to Kings Hill to take on West Kent with just 10 players due to a couple of late withdrawals.
Gravesham settled into the first half well and could have gone ahead through a couple of good chances for strike partners Dylan Blakeley and Emmanuel Edwards. The post was also struck from a stinging Blakely shot soon afterwards. Gravesham made the breakthrough mid-way through the first half - an excellent through ball was charged onto by Dylan Blakeley and he expertly slotted home past the home goalkeeper. The teams went into the interval with Gravesham leading 1-0.
West Kent started the second half well against a slightly defensive and tiring Gravesham. West Kent then equalised after a superb solo goal which started when West Kent broke form a Gravesham corner. Despite only having 10 players Gravesham battled for every ball and chased every pass. A tactical change saw Emmanuel Edwards drop into midfield and allow John Umar some freedom up front. This immediately paid dividends when a long ball was pumped forward and and Umar controlled it excellently before laying it off for the onrushing Carlvin Olale to slot home the winner. Gravesham can be thankful for some fine saves from Chris Swift in goal, in particular one with an outstretched leg, which allowed Gravesham to win the game 2-1

Gravesham 7 Swale 0 (Scorers: Nkounkou(2), Blakely(2), Umar(2), Edwards)
Old Southfields Playing Field, Nursery Mews off of Cedar Avenue DA12 5JT 11.00am kick off
Gravesham Under 13s produced a clinical display against their Swale counterparts in the second round of the ESFA National Trophy. Gravesham’s defensive unit were well marshalled and rarely threatened in a one sided first half that yielded two goals - one for debutant Emmanuel Edwards and the other a fine solo goal from man of the match Riston Nkounkou.
The second half was again one way traffic with the goals flying in. Dylan Blakeley and John Umar both netting doubles and Nkounkou adding his second with a 30 yard screamer. 7-0 the game finished, the most pleasing aspect of this game was Gravesham’s relentlessness going forward.
