Gravesham Schools' Football Association U15s Boys District Fixtures 2020 / 21
KENT CUP AND FRIENDLY FIXTURES
The team have entered the Kent Cup which is played on a League basis. The top four teams in the League will qualify for the semi-finals of the Fletcher Trophy.

Ashford 0 Gravesham 2 (Scorers: Brown, Shoolbred)
PITCHSIDE, Stanhope Road, Ashford TN23 5RF. 6.30pm kick off
Gravesham U15s kicked off their season with a friendly on what turned out to be a wet evening in Ashford. Gravesham took the lead after10 minutes with a spectacular volley from outside the penalty area from Alex Brown. Gravesham played plenty of good football, although Ashford also threatened to score. In the second half Gravesham missed a penalty but went on to double their lead following a fantastic move which culminated in Max Shoolbred finishing a cross from Hudson Scudder.

Brighton 2 Gravesham 1 (Scorer: Scudder)
Shoreham Academy, Kingston Lane, Shoreham-by-Sea BN43 6YT. 11.30am kick off
Following a minutes silence to mark the funeral of His Royal Highness The Duke of Edinburgh, Gravesham started brightly and looked threatening in attack. However, Brighton also had their chances and Archie Aldous made an outstanding save midway through the first half. Gravesham also came close to breaking the deadlock when a low drive by Daniel Adeyemi just crept past the post and Yash Hundle was even closer when his shot from 12 yards out hit the. inside of the post before bouncing away from the Brighton goal. At the interval the game remained goalless. Within 5 minutes of the second half Gravesham took the lead when Hudson Scudder received the ball on the left hand side of the penalty box and shot across and beyond the diving Brighton goalkeeper. However, Brighton equalised 5 minutes later and then took the lead midway through the second half. Gravesham toiled hard and threatened to equalise, with Yash Hundle coming closest in the final moments of the game when he turned and shot only to see his powerful strike go just wide.

Medway 6 Gravesham 0
Chatham Town Football Club, Bournville Ave ME4 6LR. 7.30pm kick off
Gravesham made a very slow start to the game and were 5-0 down at half-time as a result of a mixture of a below par Gravesham performance and some good play by our hosts. In the second half Gravesham improved their work rate and posed more of a threat to Medway, although goalkeeper Archie Aldous made a couple of outstanding saves before an unstoppable shot from outside the area saw Medway win 6-0.

South London 3 Gravesham 0
Long Lane JFC, Kidbrooke Playing Fields, Dursley Road, Blackheath, SE3 8PB 6.30pm kick off
Gravesham travelled to South London and found themselves playing a very strong opposition in the National Competition. Gravesham's defence was the busiest, but the visitors more than matched their hosts for determination and effort and determination in the first half. For the first 15 minutes of the second half Gravesham continued to match South London before conceding. South London went on to score twice more in the last 10 minutes to win the tie 3-0.
